Scope
CliqHaven is a community and resident-engagement platform for communities, apartments and related housing environments. This Privacy Policy explains how CliqHaven collects, uses, discloses, stores, retains, and protects personal information when individuals use the CliqHaven mobile app, website, and related services.
This Privacy Policy applies when you create or use an account, build a profile, participate in community features, post content, join events or groups, send messages, receive notifications, contact support, or otherwise interact with the Services.
If a property manager, housing operator, or enterprise customer offers CliqHaven to its residents, group or staff, that organization may separately control some information it submits to the platform. In that case, CliqHaven generally acts as a service provider or processor for that customer with respect to that customer-controlled information.
↑ Back to topInformation we collect
We collect only the information reasonably needed to provide, secure, improve, and support the Services. Depending on how you use CliqHaven, this may include:
- Account and profile information, such as your name, email address, phone number, password or sign-in credentials, apartment or community affiliation, profile photo, and account preferences.
- Community content and interactions, such as posts, comments, direct messages, event RSVPs, group participation, feedback, support requests, and files or images you choose to upload.
- Transactional and service information, such as notices you receive, support communications, moderation actions, and records relating to your use of community features.
- Device and usage information, such as device type, operating system, app version, language, time zone, IP address, app-instance identifiers, crash data, and feature or session activity.
- Notification data, such as push notification tokens and delivery metadata when notifications are enabled.
- Limited media or file access information, but only if you choose to upload a profile image, attachment, or other content from your device.
nformation we do not intentionally seek
CliqHaven is not designed to collect highly sensitive categories of personal information unless they are voluntarily included by a user in content or support communications. Users should not post payment card numbers, government IDs, medical information, or other sensitive data in community areas of the app.
↑ Back to topHow we collect information
We collect information directly from you, automatically from your use of the Services and your device, from integrated service providers, and from other users or customer organizations when they interact with you through the platform or invite you to use it.
↑ Back to topHow we use information
- Provide and operate the Services, including account creation, authentication, community participation, messaging, events, moderation, and support.
- Personalize and improve the user experience, including feature performance, usability, and product development.
- Send transactional, administrative, safety, legal, and service communications.
- Maintain security, detect abuse, prevent fraud, investigate incidents, and enforce terms and community standards.

User content and visibility
CliqHaven includes social and community features. Information you post or share through those features may be visible to other users within your community, group, or event, depending on how the feature is configured.
Your profile details, posts, comments, event participation, and messages may be visible to other users or administrators as needed to operate the community feature you are using. Please avoid posting information you would not want other authorized users of the community to see.
Property managers, moderators, or authorized administrators may have access to certain user-generated content and moderation records to operate, support, or enforce rules for the community.
↑ Back to topLegal bases for processing in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland
We rely on one or more of the following legal bases where required by applicable law:
- Performance of a contract, such as when we provide account access and core app functionality.
- Legitimate interests, such as securing the platform, improving performance, preventing abuse, and supporting our customers and users.
- Consent, where required for optional device permissions or other processing that depends on consent.
- Legal obligation, where we must comply with applicable law, lawful requests, court orders, or regulatory requirements.
Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients, subject to appropriate safeguards:
- Service providers and infrastructure vendors that host, secure, store, analyze, message, or support the Services.
- Property managers, housing operators, or enterprise customers that sponsor or administer the community environment in which you use CliqHaven.
- Other users, where disclosure results from your participation in community, social, event, or messaging features.
- Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and legal counsel where needed for legitimate business purposes.
- Government authorities, courts, regulators, or law enforcement where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or property.
- A buyer, successor, or transaction counterparty in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction.
Firebase and similar service providers
CliqHaven may use a limited set of Google Firebase services and related tooling to operate and improve the app. Use only the services actually enabled in production and remove any service that does not apply.
- Firebase Authentication may process account identifiers and sign-in metadata to enable secure account access.
- Cloud Firestore, Realtime Database, or Firebase Storage may store account data, user content, and service records needed to operate the platform.
- Google Analytics for Firebase may process app-instance identifiers, device information, and event data to understand feature usage and improve the app.
- Firebase Crashlytics may process crash reports, device state, and app-version data to diagnose and fix reliability issues.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging may process push tokens and message-delivery data when notifications are enabled.
Where these providers act on CliqHaven's behalf, they process information under their applicable contractual terms and technical controls.
↑ Back to topData retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain security, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and enforce agreements.
Unless a longer period is required by law or a customer contract, the following retention approach should be used as an operational baseline:
- Active account information is retained while your account remains active.
- Deleted account records and user-generated content are removed or de-identified within a reasonable period after a verified deletion request, except where retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes.
- Crash logs and technical diagnostics are generally retained for a limited troubleshooting period.
- Support requests, audit logs, and moderation records may be retained longer where needed for operational, legal, or safety reasons.
Backups may persist for a limited period before being overwritten in the ordinary course.
↑ Back to topAccount deletion and your choices
If account creation is available, CliqHaven should provide a clear way for users to request account deletion. Where supported, users can initiate deletion in the app under the account or settings area. A web-based deletion request method should also be made available if required by the app store or local law.
Deleting an account generally removes or de-identifies the user profile and associated personal information, subject to limited retention for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, system backups, dispute resolution, and records required to protect users or the platform.
You may also control certain device permissions, such as notifications or media access, through your device settings.

↑ Back to topInternational transfers
CliqHaven and its service providers may process personal information in the United States and other countries where they or their infrastructure providers operate. Where required by law, CliqHaven will use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
↑ Back to topChildren's privacy
CliqHaven is intended for residents, property staff, and other users of housing communities, and it is not directed to children under 13. If a higher minimum age applies under local law, that higher age applies. If CliqHaven learns that it collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, it will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
↑ Back to topYour privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain personal information; to object to or restrict some processing; to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and to appeal certain decisions where local law provides that right.

CliqHaven should describe the request process in its production version of this policy, including the privacy contact email, any request form, how identity is verified, and the expected response timeline.
↑ Back to topChanges to this Privacy Policy
CliqHaven may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made, CliqHaven will post the updated policy and revise the last updated date. Where required by law, CliqHaven will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
